So lastnight was not one of my best nights and I was a bit poorly. Whilst in bed there i was thinking I need something to replenish myself, then thought of what I’ll have for breakfast.
Then I remembered that I had frozen raspberries, blueberries and pineapple chunks perfect. Morrisons have a really helpful freezer section that have fruits you’d use in a smoothie, pretty helpful I think. And they are not so bad if i remember correctly each packet cost £1. And normally I’d put bananas in my smoothies but I’m not a fan plus they really don’t sit well with me.
I’ll give you an easy go to morning breakfast or anytime smoothie really doesn’t have to be for breakfast.
That’s how the berries look in the packaging although after I opened them I stored them in some freezer bags so they don’t get lost in the freezer. The freezer in this household is seriously like a jungle you fight your way into it and out of it. Lol.
- Frozen Raspberries
- Frozen Pineapple Chunks
- Frozen Blueberries
- 3 Tablespoons Plain Yoghurt (you can use flavoured yoghurt e.g honey)
- 1/4 cup of water
Spinach is a really good ingredient to use because honestly you will not taste it at all it really has no flavour. Use a handful of all the ingredients I mentioned above and proceeded to blitz. If you want your smoothie a bit more loose add more water thicker add some ice.
I didn’t add any sugar or any honey or such because I felt the smoothie has enough sugar in it. Don’t want a sugar rush in the morning.
